i dared think that i am
and closed my eyes
waiting for a blow
that never came.
i opened one eye,
then the other,
and you were still
there,
smiling at me

Sham's Muse

Sham's Muse was created as a repository for a poetry project. The goal was to write a poem a day. Any poem. Good, bad, rough hewn, inspired, dragged out, yanked out, forced, massaged, earth born, randomized, with loving fingers, with fiery heart, by magic, through dreams, in tongues, in my primordial stirrings, from sensual longing, from abstinence, from passion, with rhythm, with music, in silence, via divine forces, by my diving rod, whispered into my ears, oh muses, you caress me and hold me to your breasts, and run your fingernails along my body and dig them into my flesh as you push me to produce your masterworks.

Forgive me if the poems aren't worthy stuff. Unreadable dreck is absolutely par for the course in this particular blog.
